Biography
One of the best-known celebrity psychics working in the UK, Morgan describes herself on her website Sallymorgan.tv, as "just an ordinary person, a wife, mother and grandmother". However, there was nothing ordinary about her young life if her tales of her early psychic experiences are to be believed. Morgan grew up in Fulham, London, and it was here that she claims to have had her first communication with the dead, a talent she believes which she inherited from her grandmother. "I heard voices when I was only nine months old, the first in a lifetime of psychic experiences," she explains on her website. "I saw my first spirit or ghost when I was just four years of age." Although she trained as a dental nurse - she largely ignored her psychic powers until her late 20s - Morgan began to develop a lucrative career sideline in psychic readings at home, and by the early 1990s, she was able to make a living as a full-time clairvoyant. A married mother of three, Morgan lost seven stones as a result of a proximal gastric bypass operation, and released a DVD, Psychic Sally’s Big Fat Operation, charting her battle with her weight issues. A psychic to the stars, she has given readings to the singer George Michael, 1980s pop star Sinitta, the Hollywood actress Uma Thurman, Katie Price and the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
