All about: Greenwoods menswear

Greenwoods menswear just celebrated its 150 year in in 2010. Its first shop was opened in Bradford City Centre in 1860. The first products that they sold were hats to "the wool barons of Yorkshire." The company now has 82 stores, selling menswear and a hire wear business under the 1860. The store has an excellent reputation for quality as well as customer service. The clothes are offered in larger sizes as well.

Trousers

Greenwoods offer trousers for sale, in various styles and fabrics. Along with indigo jeans, the store offers chinos, herringbone, gaberdine, grenadier and "linen look" trousers. The style of the non-jean trousers are casual and straight-legged. One of the gaberdine trousers has a formal "frog pocket" trouser. The trousers come in different colours.

Jackets and pullovers

Greenwoods carries men jackets as well as trousers. The styles of jackets are blazers, summer formal jackets and a "soft touch summer" jacket. Casual jackets are available as well, with kippered fronts. The jackets can be fleece lined, summer casual, knit-trimmed, faux suede and faux leather made of polyurethane. A raincoat is also available, with a hemline that falls mid-thigh. The store also carries pullovers that found under the "knitwear" category. There, you will find v-neck jumpers made of acrylic and poly-cotton. A striped crew jeck jumper is also available that is made of cotton, polyester and viscose. Lastly, there is a crew neck slip over made of the same combination as the striped jumper.

Shirts

Shirts are also available, with descriptions like classic, end on end, fancy light, soft touch satin and soft touch. The shirts are plain, striped, checked with small checks and with larger ones as well. The sleeves are long and short. Dress shirts A selection of dress shirts are also available: some with pleats and studs, or covered placket fronts. One shirt comes with a cummerbund. Under "jersey" a selection of polo shorts - one plain, three striped - a plain t-shirt offered in white or black, and a long-sleeved striped rugby shirt that can be plain black as well.

Suits, accessories, and for hire

Greenwoods offers suits with the jackets, waistcoats and trousers sold separately. The suits are described as charcoal, grey or mink Bengaline, a striped suit, navy and black herringbone, black rib, mohair look, tonic navy or grey, grey pinstripe, grey flannel, and wool rich in navy or black. Formal trousers a dinner jacket and two paisley waistcoats are also offered. Accessories Accessories include belts, cufflinks, shoes, bow ties and braces for formal and informal wear. Greenwoods offers men's suit hire as well, ranging from morning wear, highland wear, and evening wear.
