The Self Storage Association or SSA is a tax-exempt, non-profit organisation that was established in the year 1975. The association has been representing both the international and US self storage industry for over 35 years. SSA forwards the requests and sentiments of the industry not only to the US Congress, but also to the concerned federal agencies and departments. Organisation The SSA is being governed by a 12-member Board of Directors, in addition to ex officio seats that represent the offices of the General Counsel and the President and CEO.
