Editing CSS

CSS is a code which defines the layout and design of your blog.
Overblog allows you to customize the theme of your blog thanks to CSS.
Editing CSS and risks
In order to edit the CSS of your blog, select the section "Design" and click on the tab "Advanced Mode / CSS".
In a new page, you will see a grey box containing the CSS of your blog.
Editing CSS step-by-step
In order to edit the CSS, click on the button "My Style" and check the box "Customize".
Tips & tricks:
  • Edit the CSS little by little.
  • Be sure to keep a copy of your CSS in order to cancel the last editing.
  • Do not validate until you are happy with the changes (use the preview function).
Getting your original design back
In case of mistake, you can copy/paste and get your original design back.
Special case: Editing CSS in advanced mode
In advanced mode, you can select different designs for the homepage, articles, pages and photo albums.
In the left-hand column, select the type of page you want to edit.
Selecting "Global" will edit the design of your blog as a whole.
