A guide to Sea-Tac parking

Seattle-Tacoma Airport, known familiarly as SeaTac, is a large airport situated 15 miles south of Seattle, Washington. SeaTac Airport parking is comprehensive, with hourly, daily and weekly rates available. It also provides specialist parking for motorcycles, vehicles for disabled people and electric vehicles.

Terminal direct parking

The Most Convenient Parking
Terminal direct parking provides motorists with a direct, covered link to the terminal building through a series of fourth floor sky bridges.
Terminal direct parking is on offer for as little as £2.50 per hour, while a stay between eight and 24 hours costs just over £20.
Parking is then charged at an additional price of approximately £20 each day (all prices as of 1.5.2011, Portseattle.org).

General parking

Daily and Weekly Rates
SeaTac Airport's general parking is slightly cheaper than terminal direct parking.
Located on floors three, five, six, seven and eight, general parking offers both daily and weekly rates.
Rates are applied automatically to your stay, so you always receive the optimal price regardless of the duration of your stay.
While a solitary day in the general car park costs approximately £17, a week-long parking is charged at just under £80 and a fortnight at just over £150.
Travellers wishing to leave their vehicle for 30 days or more are advised to contact SeaTac Airport's Public Parking Office, as cars left for this time may be regarded as abandoned (all prices as of 1.5.2011, Portseattle.org/seatac/).

Motorcycles, accessible and other vehicles

Motorcycles
Charges for parking motorcycles, scooters and other two-wheeled vehicles is the same as cars, with designated spaces in both terminal direct and general parking. Accessible Parking
American Disability Association (ADA) specialised parking spaces are also available in both the terminal direct and general car parks, provided that cars display valid disabled permit identification.
Disabled travellers can also contact the Huntleigh company for any assistance they require transferring to the terminal. Over-height Vehicles
In the past, vehicles over six foot, 10 inches have been able to enter the car park only to later damage the tops of their cars in the parking spaces.
The entryway to the car park is now limited to six foot, 10 inches, while there are additional parking spaces for over-height vehicles. Electric Vehicle Plug-ins
There are a total of six electric plug-in car parking spaces, available on the fifth floor in the general car park.
Motorists are advised to book their parking slots in advance to ensure that they receive an electric plug-in.
