A guide to buying Frigidaire refrigerators
Frigidaire is an appliance company with a long history of making reliable and top quality products for the home market. While not considered to be a high end brand at the level of Wolf or Viking or SubZero, a Frigidaire fridge is still a solid investment and one which any homeowner would be proud to have in his kitchen. Before buying Frigidaire appliances, however, you need to understand what you are getting.
Frigidaire line
There are different models of Frigidaire refrigerators and Frigidaire freezers which are available to customers looking for a refrigerator. Two examples include the Gallery line and the Professional line. Frigidaire professional refrigerators and freezers may be for more serious cooks and may have features that the Gallery line does not offer to customers. The Professional line is also going to be more expensive though. When you are buying appliances, consider if you want to spend this extra cost on a fridge or whether you would rather save a bit of money on the refrigerator and splurge on the Frigidaire range.
Style
The next consideration that you will need to think about once you have decided whether you want Frigidaire Gallery or their professional line is what style of fridge you want. The company makes a variety of different styles of refrigerator, from the classic side by side option to more modern options like fridges with the freezer at the bottom. You can even opt for French door fridges. Whether the refrigerator is counter depth or built-in or standard depth is another thing to think about when considering style. A standard depth Frigidaire fridge will either stick out longer than your cabinets will or will need to be recessed back into the studs a little to make it flush. This fact is true not only for Frigidaire refrigerators but for any refrigerator which is not counter depth.
Size
The final consideration to think about is the size of the refrigerator. Sizes are generally measured in cubic feet and in inches. The inches which give you details on the height, width and depth will indicate how much floor space your fridge takes up. Cubic feet indicates how much internal space you have to store food.
