A guide to buying a white twin bed
Bed frames have come a long way. The first beds were a little more than a pile of leaves on the floor. The first bed frame was invented in the ancient Egypt. The frame was made of wood and embellished. The Romans made bed frames as well, though not as elaborate as the Egyptian beds. In the Elizabethan era, the four-poster bed was invented. White twin beds are popular for children's rooms and they are available in various styles.

Simple frames
One of the most basic of the kids twin beds is the basic bed frame. The frame may not necessarily be made of wood, but could be made of MDF which has been painted white. The quality of the construction of these beds can vary. Wood frames which have been painted white can also be an option. These bed frames may be made of solid wood or wood veneer. Combined with a cheap twin mattress, the bed can be fairly cheap.
Storage beds
Storage beds are another style of white twin beds which are popular for kids' rooms. These beds can be captain beds or divan beds with storage beneath them. The captain bed is a style of bed which is raised to accommodate drawers and or cabinets beneath them. This kind of bed works well in rooms which do not have a lot of space in them. The divan bed is another style of storage bed where the bed is hinged to access a storage area beneath the mattress. This bed also works well in small rooms.
Twin bunk beds
White twin bunk beds are another popular style of bed which is commonly found in kids rooms. These twin beds don't have to be the traditional twin bed with one mattress directly above the other. The bunk bed could actually be a bed which has one twin bed angled in a different direction than the upper bed, or may even have shelves or stairs. These beds can be quite fun and add another way to provide storage in a small room, since these beds have also the capacity of storage areas built into the frame, beneath the stairs or beneath the mattresses themselves. The materials of these beds can vary.
