A favourite destination for families, no Florida vacation would be complete without exploring at least one of the many parks. However, which one to choose? The bustling U.S. city of Orlando is located in central Florida, USA, about a four-hour drive from Miami. The city is popular among both local and international visitors due to its wide variety of theme parks, including Disney World, Universal Studios, water and adventure parks and the nearby Kennedy Space Centre. Kennedy Space Centre NASA's launch headquarters, the Kennedy Space Centre, is about two hours to the east of Orlando. The centre gives visitors the chance to meet astronauts, experience flight simulators and tour the launching areas. Busch Gardens Located about an hour and a half, to the west of Orlando in Tampa Bay, Busch Gardens is an adventure park combining rides and animal sightings. The park boasts more roller coasters than any other location in Florida, and also gives visitors the chance to get close to the endangered creatures, such as the Bengal tiger and the Orangutans.
