A review of the Orange "Magic Numbers" offer

In mobile services arena, it’s a race for companies to attract new customers and retain the existing ones with discounts and attractive offers. With so many companies vying for ever demanding customers, it’s not strange to see them introducing new offers every now and then. Orange UK has come up with similar offers in UK and its ‘Magic Number’ facility is one such offer.

What is Orange Magic Number?

Discounted rate Orange Magic numbers are for those customers who have most of their friends or contacts on the Orange network. The Magic Number allows them to chat with three or more Orange numbers of the company’s broadband talk and wireless numbers at a time at a discounted rate. Incentive This allows the customers to keep in touch with their near and dear ones and at the same time, not burn a whole in their pocket (provided all of them are on Orange Network). For Orange, this offer works as an incentive for its customers to either be on the Orange network or change to this network to avail this offer.

Facilities provided in this service

Orange provides various facilities to customers who avail this facility. They are as follows: - A customer can change his top three numbers at any time. This allows the customer to add new friends into this list from time to time. - The customer can also get new Orange numbers every six months, provided the payments are made monthly. - Customers can have as many Magic numbers they like, which simply means there is no limit to the number of people one can include in this scheme.

Eligibility

This facility is available to Orange pay as you go customers, both new and existing ones. However, the offer is not available to customers who are on Free Text Trigger tariff.

How to get a Magic Number?

Getting a Magic Number is fairly simple. The customer can contact Orange customer service at 450 or they can log on to their accounts on the Orange web site. Also, to get their discounted bills, they will have to keep recharging a minimum of about £10 every month. If this is not done, the facility will be cancelled.
