Most popular personal Citibank cards (as at July 2011)

Citi Platinum Visa Signature (Select AAdvantage) card A frequent flier CitiBank card that rewards users with 30,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles if they make purchases worth at least $750 in the first four months. Users accumulate one mile per dollar spent and no black-out dates for travel on select airlines. An $85 annual fee is applicable after 12 months. The annual APR is 15.24% and balances cannot be transferred to this card. Citi Thank You Preferred Card Great for regular card users. It rewards users with 10,000 Thank You points when they make $500 worth of purchases within the first three months. It rewards users with five Thank You points for every $1 spent on fuel, supermarkets and chemists for the first 12 months, and from then on, they get one point for every $1 spent. The Thank You points have no expiration date. It does not charge an annual fee and features 0% APR for 12 months on purchases and balance transfers. The rate switches to 12.99% and 20.99% thereafter. Citi Dividend Card A cash-back card that rewards users with $150 cash-back for $750 spent in the first three months. Thereafter, the cash-back is 1% on purchases. Additional special offers are often announced. There’s no annual fee and features 0% APR for 12 months on purchases and balance transfers. The rate switches to 12.99% and 20.99%. Citi Forward Card A rewards card that gives 6,000 bonus points for $600 spent on purchases. Thereafter, users earn five Thank You points for every $1 spent on restaurants and entertainment, and one Thank You point for every $1 spent on other purchases. There’s a 2% purchase APR reduction if the user stays within credit limits and pay more than three bills in a row on time. No annual fee is charged and the APR is 0% for 12 months on purchases and balance transfers. From then on, it varies between 12.99% and 20.99%.

Other personal Citibank cards

Aside from these cards, Citibank (in the UK and the US) also issues the following personal cards: Citi Platinum Select MasterCard 0% APR on purchases on balance transfers for the first 12 months and no annual fees. Citi Simplicity Card – 0% APR on purchases up to 21 months.
