In addition, the mucus usually increases. An increase in body temperature may occur as well. This number refers to your basal temperature and it rises a few tenths of a degree. Your cervix will change positions and become higher, softer and more opened. A more emotional state, breast tenderness as well as an increased sex drive are signs of ovulation, too. The days you ovulate is the best time to conceive. Don’t forget that sperm can live inside the body for up to five days. So, start trying early. Approximately, 6-12 days after conception implantation occurs during which time, you may experience bleeding upon implantation. This is one of the signs of conception. Usually, this bleeding is very minimal and either pink or brown.

The best way to conceive is monitoring fertility. However, there are other steps which can improve your chances of conception. Maintaining a proper weight for you is important for conception. When you’re underweight or overweight, it may pose a problem for ovulation. If you smoke, quit. Smoking can cause problems with fertility as well as causing problems during pregnancy such as a low birth weight baby. Illegal drugs and alcohol should also be avoided when trying to conceive. Start taking either a prenatal vitamin or other multi-vitamin. Many nutrient deficiencies hinder conception and during pregnancy.
