In step 3, you need to fill the code on the keypad. When you do this, your remote will get a clear idea that you are programming that particular instrument into it. All the important functions will be programmed automatically into the remote. Step 4:
For testing purpose, you need to press the "Power" button on the universal remote. If you do not face any issues, it is a clear sign that the test is successful and you can safely move on to the next step. If your test is unsuccessful and error is showing, you need to recheck your code. Often, it happens because of your entering the incorrect code of your brand or model number. Step 5:
You need to follow the same set of routine for all the instruments you are interested in programming. Keep a keen eye on remote because if your programming is not up to the mark, you may experience a flashing light or a dialog box depicting error.
