Alameda County is located in the East Bay section of the San Francisco Bay Area. It can easily be reached from San Francisco, by crossing the Bay Bridge. Crown Memorial State Beach Also, in Alameda is the Robert W. Crown Memorial State Beach, where bird lovers can observe ducks, loons and grebes.
