What passenger services are available at Chattanooga Airport?

Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, which is also known locally as Lovell Field, is located five miles from the central business district of Chattanooga in Hamilton County, Tennessee. As well as serving the local community and connecting flights, the airport also acts as diversion airport for the larger 'nearby' MARTA airport in Atlanta.

Flights

Chattanooga airport is owned and operated by the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority, and has a single concourse. It is recorded that a flight from Chattanooga to Atlanta takes just 17 minutes flying on a Canadair Regional Jet, so it is not surprising that the airport serves the MARTA airport when flight operations in Atlanta are interrupted.
Different airlines and destinations
Allegiant Air, American Eagle, Atlantic Southeast Airlines and Pinnacle Airlines are amongst those who offer flights to Chattanooga and out-bound destinations include Orlando-Sanford, St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Chicago-O'Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Atlanta, Detroit, Charlotte, Washington-National and Fort Walton Beach.

Services

Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport offers many of the amenities found in larger airports.
Information booth An information booth is located on the first floor of the Airport Rotunda before the baggage claim area and is staffed Monday to Friday from 9 am. to 5 pm.
Brochures to attractions throughout the city are freely available, as well as maps and driving directions.
Opening hours
The Airport is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, although the terminal only operates from 4:30 am. to 12 am. However, these hours may be extended if there is a late flight.
Wheelchair service and handicap parking Volunteers and airline agents provide a wheelchair service for the elderly, ill, pregnant, or others who require it, and TDD terminals are located at the phone board near baggage claim. Outside, handicap parking is available in every lot. If you require any more information on this service, please call 423 855 2200.
