Most golf equipment used is bought in full sets these days, especially golf clubs, in order to maintain consistency on the course. However, what if a golfer wants to replace one of his or her dodgy single golf irons or any lost golf clubs? In this case, there are some options for buying single individual irons or drivers.
The first port of call would be a standard golf store for irons for sale, or any other club for that matter. Although the prices are not guaranteed to be as low as you would like, chances are you will receive good quality service from the shop assistants, as they will have specialist knowledge on which single clubs should be purchased. Also, golfers could do a lot worse than simply wandering into the pro shop at their local golf course. Again, prices may not be as low as desired, but, your local pro will know what golf singles are better for bunker shots and whether any particular club is a “hole in one club.”
In terms of discount clubs, however, it would be better to visit general sporting goods stores, such as JJB Sports or Sports Direct, to try and get cheaper clubs. These larger, more general stores will be able to afford to provide more offers than specialised golf stores. In these larger stores, there will be whole racks of single golf clubs to choose from and therefore there are more options for golfers. For example, if a specific golf club length is not for you then there is bound to be a club in one of these larger stores that will suit you. However, with the more general stores you run the risk of the staff perhaps not knowing their golf terminology and not knowing what club works best for you. It is a balancing act.
As with any other products, golf clubs (iron, driver or putter) are available for purchase online. For example, for used Mizuno irons or used Ping irons, all you have to do is type it into a search engine and shop around. This will, most likely, get you a pretty good deal on golf clubs online. However, you do run the risk of not getting as good a product as you hope for and end up throwing up much more divots than you want on the golf course. It is best to shop around and see.
