Sony Ericsson cell phones have an MP3 player built-in, so you can download music on the phone. You can also download themes for your phone, to change the look of your background and menus. Most of these are free or for only a little money and can be directly downloaded onto your phone from its Internet browser. This article will show you where to find Sony Ericsson downloads.

Visit the Sony Ericsson's website on your phone’s Internet browser. Click on themes at the top of the menu, and then, browse the themes listed. Click on the theme you want to download onto your Sony Ericsson phone.
You can also choose Sony ringtones to download onto your phone, and select a free mobile ringtone for your phone.

Installing the software Before you can download music onto your phone, you first have to install the Sony Ericsson PC suite software on your computer. The CD for this software came with your phone when you purchased it. Insert the CD into your computer’s CD drive, double-click on the installation file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software on your computer. Reboot your computer when the installation is completed by clicking on the Start button, click on the arrow to the right of shut-down, and then, click on Restart. Install the Disk2Phone program onto your computer.

Insert the installation CD into your computer’s CD drive, click on the Disc2Phone installation link, and then, follow the on-screen instructions. Connect your Sony Ericsson phone to your computer via the USB cable.
You should have received a USB cable with your phone. Plug one end of the cable into a USB port on your computer, and the other end, into the port on your phone. Double-click on the Disk2Phone icon on your desktop, and select the file transfer mode. Your computer will search for drivers. Phone Connection Wizard
A window will then, open called Phone Connection Wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions. You will see Phone Card on the right side of the window. This is where your music will be stored. Select where you want to get your music, by using the drop-down menu on the left side of the screen. You can select a folder where you have music stored, or you can insert a CD into the computer. Select Audio CD from the drop-down menu to download music from a CD.
Insert the CD into your computer’s CD drive. Select individual tracks by checking the check boxes, or click on Select All to download the entire CD.
