Where to find UK cash surveys

A lot of people have realised that they can earn a little money now through taking part in online surveys. Paid surveys can be quite profitable. However, they do take a certain amount of time, and the pay is not this good. This article looks at where to find web surveys which pay, and offers some hints and tips.

Looking for cash surveys

A web search will throw up a number of companies which tell you how to make money online. Among those which are constantly rated good are Valuedopinions.co.uk and Consumerintelligence.co.uk. Both have a wide variety of online surveys, and once you are registered with them, they will send you survey offers by email. You can do as many or as few as you like. Surveys take anything from a couple of minutes to round half an hour

Getting paid for online surveys

Web surveys pay anything from 50p to about £3.00. Some companies offer the opportunity to attend consumer focus groups, and these pay far better - anything up to about £100. However, most of these are in London, and there are rarely any outside large cities. Money is paid in various ways Some companies will send you a cheque while others offer shopping vouchers. Some will not pay out until you have earned a certain amount. So, check that it is not a sum which is too large if you only want to do a few surveys.

Other hints and tips

Longer surveys Surveys seem to be getting longer. Many now take 20 minutes to half an hour, but only pay about £2.00. If you are out of work or have lots of spare time they are worth doing, but otherwise probably not. Do not pay for surveys Companies should not ask you to pay upfront to join them. Avoid any company which does! Filling in profiles Most survey companies expect you to fill in a fairly extensive 'profile' of your way of life and interests. This is quite legitimate. They will have a quota for the type of people needed for each survey, and will try to target surveys to the most appropriate respondents. Keeping your profile complete and up to date will maximise the number of surveys you receive. Have fun earning cash online!
