Accommodation
Disney resorts Disney separate their hotels into three different categories, value, moderate and deluxe. In total, there are four value resorts, five moderate resorts and ten deluxe and select deluxe resorts, all of which provide free transportation to the four Walt Disney World theme parks and two water parks. Off-site hotels There are thousands of hotels around Walt Disney World resort and in the Orlando area. International Drive and the Highway 192 areas are often popular with tourists looking for affordable off-site resorts. In order to find good deals on hotels outside of Walt Disney World, it is best to check comparison sites such as Hotels.com and Travel Republic.
In the parks
The Magic Kingdom
The Magic Kingdom has a number of popular attractions. For those looking for thrills head to Tomorrowland when the park opens, pick up a Fastpass for Space Mountain and then head to ride Buzz Ligthyear's Space Ranger Spin. Those with young children may want to head straight when entering the park towards Fantasyland, riding either Dumbo or Peter Pan's Flight, which gets busy later on in the day.
EPCOT
Soarin', located in The Land pavilion to the left of Future World, is a must as soon as the park opens for guests who want to experience the attraction. As the day goes on, Soarin' gets busy, so it is important to either experience Soarin when the park opens or head to the attraction and get a Fastpass to ride later.
Illuminations
Reflections of Earth is the firework spectacular at EPCOT every night. It is important to get to the World Showcase Lagoon at least one hour early in order to get a place with a good view of the show.
Disney's Hollywood Studios
Toy Story Midway Mania is one of the most popular attractions at Hollywood Studios, so it is important to head to Pixar Place when the park opens to avoid lines for the attraction. After that, head towards Sunset Boulevard and ride either Tower of Terror or Rockin' Roller Coaster whilst getting a Fastpass for the other.
Disney's Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom's most popular attractions are Expedition Everest, Dinosaur and Kilimanjaro Safari's. In order to avoid lines, it is best to get a Fastpass for either Kilimanjaro Safari's or Dinosaur before heading over to Expedition Everest.
