A guide to Universal Studios in Florida
Universal Studios is one of the most popular Florida attractions and is made up of two theme parks. There is the original Universal Studios along with Islands of Adventure. The parks are in easy walking distance to each other and are connected by Universal CityWalk. Here are some highlights on both parks.

Get a feel of what it is like to be in a disaster movie with the ride Disaster which features stunts and special effects, including a catastrophic earthquake. Coaster enthusiasts can ride Revenge of the Mummy and come face to face with a great white shark on Jaws. Kids can see Shrek, Princess Fiona and Lord Farquaad at Shrek 4-D. Besides a variety of rides, Universal Studios offers numerous shows including Animal Actors on Location and Fear Factor Live. If ever wishing to visit Hogwarts, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will allow just that. Attractions include Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Dragon Chase and Flight of the Hippogriff. Step back in time to the days of the dinosaurs with Jurassic Park River Adventure. Warning, there is a good chance of getting wet on this ride. Be prepared for a quick blast off on the Incredible Hulk Coaster. Kids will enjoy the Cat in the Hat ride as well as the 3D attraction, The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. Families can be entertained at The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad Stunt Show. Lasers, fire and water effects are used as special effects in the show Poseidon's Fury. The park also has special areas for kids including Camp Jurassic and Me Ship, The Olive. There are numerous restaurants to choose from including Pizza Predattoria, Mythos Restaurant, Three Broomsticks and Fire Eater’s Grill.
