Bristol Museum and Art Gallery
This impressively spacious museum and art gallery covers the history of our civilisation from creation to now. Some 19 galleries are spread over the three floors, all of which are home to some of the best showcases around, all dedicated to art and archaeology as well as geology and natural history. The Fleet Air Arm Museum
This fascinating museum located in the Yeovilton area houses the largest collection of aircraft in the world and is home to a replica of a 1912 Short S27, the earliest model on display as well as the unrestored remains of the first aircraft to have taken part in a naval battle in 1916, the Short 184.
Blaise Castle House Museum and Estate
This historic site includes a 19th century mansion, set in 400 acres of parkland and houses a social history collection that includes Victorian toilets and baths, kitchen and laundry equipments, model trains, dolls and toys as well as some stunning period costume.
