All you need to use this service is a computer with internet connection and an online account with the service provider. You will use the account to log in online and check your faxes. Sign up with an online fax service provider To sign up and create an e-fax services account, visit an online fax service provider such as MyFax.com or Efax.com and enter the required details, including your contact details and preferred account username and password. Usually, there is no account set up fee and you will get a 30-day free trial faxing account. After the trial, however, you will be invoiced a monthly (on average about $8 to $10 a month) or an annual fee for the service, depending on the service plan you sign up for. Choose a service plan that best meets your faxing needs. For example, choose corporate fax plans for corporate business faxing needs.

Send fax

Once you have signed up for an e-faxing service, it is time to get internet faxing. Sign into your account by entering your username and password. Click the "Send Fax" button. Your "My Folders" screen will appear. Enter details of the electronic fax recipient you want to mail fax or select an existing contact from your "Address Book," if you had already entered the details. Select the scanned document(s) you want to fax that are saved in your PC and add them as attachments. Hit the "Send" button to send your Web fax. Click the "Sent Folder" tab to see the status of your sent fax message. Online fax services send fax messages as email attachments in the service provider's supported formats, such as MS Word/Excel/ PowerPoint, Plain text, TIF image and Adobe Acrobat PDF.
