A review of the 2011 Buick Enclave

Buick is considered to be the oldest American car make that is still being actively manufactured and is also a member of the GMC family. Buick cars are known for their luxury and elegance. The 2011 Buick Enclave is the brand's entry into the competitive luxury SUV market, which counts among its players; Acura, Lexus, Volvo, and Audi. The following article is a review of the 2011 Buick Enclave.

Driving impressions and notable features

Driving the Enclave The 2011 Buick Enclave is designed to seat eight passengers and it does so with great ease. This SUV is also fun and exhilarating to drive. Steering remains light up to normal speeds, but begins to firm up as you go faster, giving you a feeling of control. It comes equipped with a powerful V6 engine that gives the vehicle ample hauling and accelerating power. Its noise reduction features are also commendable and you would hardly hear any engine or wind noise at cruising speeds. Notable features: Second-row seats It is quite difficult to access the rear seats in most vehicles, requiring you to have some bit of flexibility and even ingenuity. The Buick Enclave on the other hand, comes with ergonomically designed second-row seats and adjustable cushions, making it easy for you to slide forward and quickly move to the last row. QuietTuning The Buick Enclave is equipped with the QuietTuning technology that allows you to drive with minimal noise disturbance and is relatively quiet. You would hardly hear any irritating noise turbulence inside even as you speed up, making the driving a truly pleasurable and relaxing experience.

Interior and exteriors

Interior The vehicle’s handsome dashboard features chrome and camphor burl wood trimmings. The cabin is made by using top quality materials and is tastefully designed. The Enclave comes in seven and eight passenger versions, both having moveable and foldable second-row seats for easy access to the third row. There is generous cargo space behind the third row which can even be expanded further by folding the last two rows of seats. Exteriors This vehicle’s exteriors are smartly designed and with its artful lines, you might mistake it for a smaller SUV, not something that is built to carry up to eight passengers. Its neat front grille features Buick's trademark waterfall design. The Enclave also has elegant looking head lamps that are shaped like almonds.
