A review of the LG Chocolate mobile phone

This is a review for the LG Chocolate mobile phone which is a recent release from LG in their touchscreen range. The first model of the phone was released in early 2010 and includes features such as a 1.3 mega-pixel camera.

Positive points

Positive elements of the LG Chocolate mobile phone include its up-to-date features. These include: - Touch navigation key mapping
- Tall and slim design
- 21:9 aspect ratio
- Multi-touch support Portability The main benefits of owning this phone are the tall and slim design which is incredibly ergonomic so that it can be easily carried in jean pockets, without any problem. Surprisingly, it consists of a good shape to hold as it is slim and not too bulky for use. Screen visibility With its high-aspect ratio and 800x345 pixel resolution, it includes fantastic screen for the new age, allowing good visibility. Appearance The last point involves its appearance. The new Chocolate mobile phone is worth a look with its sleek black and red exterior, making it a classy addition to LG electronics.

Negative points

However, despite its good looks and respectable resolution, there are some down-sides that have been found when reviewing the new LG. Confusing to use The LG K800 can also be rather confusing to use because it gives you too many ways of accomplishing the same task. For example, applications can be accessed either via a shortcut menu, a grid display with icons divided into carousel menus based on their function, or in a landscape view that shows all the icons on a single screen. After a while, people find themselves craving the iPhone's simpler homescreen.
Narrow display Also, with the 21:9 aspect, it brings some problems as the display is also very narrow. When you view web pages in landscape mode, the rendered text is very small and quite difficult to read. With this in mind, it becomes difficult to see. So, the zooming function is used more. Hence, it becomes annoying after some time. Therefore, the screen warrants its wide features as almost pointless due to the time wasted by scrolling around the pages. Conclusion After evaluating the ups and downs of the phone, its special LG camera, LG slide, LG video and all other LG-related things like the LG handsets, the conclusion drawn is that, for the £500 you could spend without it on contract, it's worth buying an iPhone instead. It's simpler to use and cheaper. LG apologies, but you can't beat the best with this.
