About the Parkroyal, Penang

Location Penang is an island off the west coast of Malaysia, connected to the mainland with the 13.5km long Penang bridge. The Park Royal Penang is located on the white sandy beach of Batu Ferringhi Beach, 31km north-west of Penang Airport and 17km from the main city on the island, Georgetown. The area has been heavily developed for tourism, with many high apartments and hotel buildings. However, the natural beauty of the island and the stunning beaches has not been diminished. Hotel facilities The hotel Parkroyal is located right on the beach and has many water-based activities such as sailing, jet-skiing, parasailing and canoeing. The resort also has two swimming pools, a tennis court, and massage huts on the beach. The hotel is located close to local attractions such as the Butterfly Farm and the night-bazaar. There is a kids' club, Koko-Nut Klub, for 4 -12 years old and a day spa, 'The Gregory'. There are 309 guest rooms, all of which have ocean views and balconies. Rooms vary from Standard Rooms to Grand Deluxe Seaview rooms with Balcony. There are also a number of suites including the Premier Junior Suite with balcony and the Ocean Palm Suite with balcony. The hotel offers a number of package deals, including 'Weekend Getaway', 'Stay and Dine', 'Family Go Spa' and 'Memorable Romance'. Hotel dining The Parkroyal on Beach Road is known for its excellent cuisine. The hotel has a number of stylish indoor and outdoor dining options, and the chefs of the Parkroyal regularly win gold medals at Penang's 'Battle of the Chefs' Competition.
