All about: Orlando Sanford International Airport

Located about 18 miles of the north-eastern side of Orlando, Florida, this airport is home to more than 10 local and international airlines. Owing to its proximity to many well-known attractions and beautiful beaches in sunny Florida, this airport is one of the busiest Florida airports. In fact, the Orland Sanford International Airport is consistently ranked as one of the top 30 busiest airports in the world.

Airport facilities

The airport sets in about 2,000 acres of land with four well-maintained asphalt runways and two terminals. Terminal B leads to gate 1 to 9, while terminal B offers easy access to gates 6 to 12.
Shopping and dining Shopping and dining facilities can be found inside terminal A, so if you want to buy some souvenirs or eat something before you board your aircraft, just go to terminal A. The duty free shopping centre located inside terminal A is a good place to buy some mementos for your trip.

Airport parking

Orland Airport parking is not a problem, and you can easily find a place to leave your car in the surface parking lot, or in the parking garage located close to the airport terminal. The surface parking lot and the covered parking garage both offer convenient entry points to the terminals.
Pedestrian bridge or airport shuttle From the covered parking garage, you can take the pedestrian bridge to the ticketing and baggage claim areas of terminal B. If you use the surface parking area, you can take the airport shuttle to the terminal. Credit cards and cash The Orlando Airport parking area accepts major credit cards as well as cash.
All exit lanes in the parking area accepts credit cards only, but the self-parking machines located near terminal B accepts both credit cards and cash.

The airport caters to several destinations within the United States, North America and some European destinations. You can use the airport flight tracker, located in strategic areas inside the Sanford Orlando Airport to track down your flight.

Nearby attractions

There are a number of attractions close to Orlando International Airport, such as Universal Studios, Disneyland, SeaWorld and many beautiful beaches. If you have a few hours to spare during your stop-over at the airport, you may take an Orlando Airport taxi to some of the attractions nearby. A nice walk on the beach and a cool drink should be a welcome break after a long flight.
