The show features 10 large dinosaurs including the plateosaurus, stegosaurus and and the tyrannosaurus rex, with 5 smaller dinosaurs including a baby t-rex and a liliensternus.
The construction
The construction of each of the larger dinosaurs required the use of 433 feet of hydraulic hose, 971 feet of fabric, 433 feet of foam, 53 gallons of paint, 7 kilowatts of power from 12 truck batteries, 1094 yards of cabling in each body and 24 microprocessors control movement along with 15 hydraulic rams and 6 hydraulic motors each. The largest dinosaurs weigh an incredible 1.6 tonnes (about the weight of a family car).

The show first premièred in the UK in 2009, and has been viewed by over 500,000 people, taking in over £16m in ticket sales. The show is popular around the world, with performances reaching as far as Japan and Australia.
