An introduction to Damage Inc
Damage Inc is the name of a tribute act which performs the songs of thrash metal band, Metallica. They pay tribute to the band's history which featured Cliff Burton on bass guitar.
History
Background
Burton joined Metallica in 1982 and died in 1986 while touring in Europe. Damage Inc therefore focus on songs from the band's first three albums.
Damage Inc take their name from the third song on the original band's 'Masters of Puppets' album, released in 1986.
Name
It was also the name of the world tour during which the band's original bassist Cliff Burton was tragically killed after a bus accident near Ljungby in Sweden.
Burton was posthumously inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame, along with the rest of Metallica, in 2009.
Primary focus
Damage Inc's decision to focus on Burton's involvement in the band mean that they play songs from the band's first three studio albums: 'Kill 'Em All', 'Ride the Lightning' and 'Master of Puppets'.
Such songs include 'Leper Messiah', 'Fade To Black' and 'Seek & Destroy'.

Aaron Pearson is the singer and guitarist who fronts Damage Inc.
Born in Utah, he was raised in California and lists his major musical influences as AC/DC and Van Halen.
Pearson has also pursued an extensive solo career with band-mates Larry Howe and Stephen Goodwin.
Larry Howe
Howe also plays the drums for Damage Inc, and is a native of Sacramento, California.
A self-described Led Zeppelin freak, Howe met Pearson while both played in a Van Halen tribiute band, 'Hot For Teacher'.
Stephen Goodwin
Drummer Stephen Goodwin is an experienced session musician who boasts of a host of professional experience with various bands and a wide variety of music.
The band's second guitarist is Geoff Thorpe.
