Chooing an Orange pay as you go phone
Orange have been a stalwart in the mobile communication market, and their deal to maximise network coverage with T-Mobile has furthered their power in the market. There are a variety of Orange handsets and Orange tariffs, both from several high street retailers and the Orange website or Orange mobile shop itself. But if you are looking at Orange phone deals, which should you go for?

Orange Phones
If you're looking for an inexpensive phone, there are a variety of options in the Orange shop.
The Alcatel OT-222 costs only £4.99, and serves you in good stead if you want to simply make calls and text message on your phone. Its clamshell design ensures that it's light and won't take up much space in your pocket. However, it lacks several 'modern' features of a mobile phone, such as a camera- so if you're looking for a jazzed-up powerhouse of a phone, this, unfortunately, isn't it.
If you're looking for features such as Bluetooth and a camera, the Orange Lisbon would make a perfect phone- with a touchscreen interface and a super-sleek finish, this phone goes some way towards curing your iPhone envy on a budget of only £19.99
As I've said above, the Orange shop isn't the only way to find great Orange offers on Pay As You Go- Phones4U has phones at a variety of prices.
If you're after a more premium product, Phones4U stocks the Samsung S3350; a Blackberry-style phone, with full QWERTY keyboard layout, and photo calling, as well as a two megapixel camera.
Of course, big-named brands are available on Orange pay as you go- but these may set you back a fair price. A BlackBerry Curve 8520 will set you back £120, and the HTC Wildfire [running Android] costs £150- though you may decide that the advanced functionality of both these devices, such as email or Instant Messaging, may be worth the higher price.
