How to become an American citizen

Step one: Check if you feel the requirements for US citizenship
In order to become an American citizen you should first check whether or not you fulfil certain requirements:
Permanent US resident for five years
Firstly, you may fulfill the certain requirements for US citizenship if you were a permanent US resident for at least five years and were physically present for at least 30 months out of the five years.
Permanent resident living with a spouse for three years in the US
Secondly, you can apply for US citizenship if you were a permanent US resident for at least 3 years, were physically present for at least 18 months out of the 3 years and were living in marital union with the same US citizen spouse for the last 3 years.
Other requirements
