How to pass your driving test

If you are under 17, driving on the road is illegal. To get driving in the UK, you need to apply for a provisional license, which permits you to drive provided that your vehicle has L plates, and you are accompanied by someone who has been driving for three years and is over the age of 21. You can do this via online booking and there is a standard fee of of around £50 to get a provisional license, and you are then legally classed as a learner driver. Practical experience You should get practical experience by having driving practice with either an instructor or someone you trust who has been driving for more than three years and is over the age of 21. However you must also pass a theory test exam online, however you must sit it in a DVLA test centre.

One of the most important things to remember is to remain calm throughout, although this is a stressful experience, excessive nerves may actually be detrimental to your driving. Try breathing in for seven seconds and out for 11 seconds to slow your breathing rate and keep you calm.

Remember things like indicating and checking your mirrors, as you can incur minor faults for these offences, and they may lead to majors if it causes danger.

Also, be sure that you know your way around the engine, as you may be asked to locate the dipstick or water tank.
