Martin Luther King
Dr Martin Luther King was from Atlanta, and there are plenty of places connected to Dr. King that are worth a visit. Go to the visitors centre of the Martin Luther King jr historical site, and from there you can visit the three main cites of the park. These are the house he was born, the church where he preached (the Ebenezer Baptist church) and the memorial site where he is buried. There is also a civil rights Walk of Fame where authentic shoe prints are featured of civil rights pioneers.
Coca Cola
You can experience the history of the most famous soft drink in the world at the World of Coca-Cola. You can see artefacts, watch a 4D movie and sample 60 different beverages. When the World of Coca-cola opened its doors in 1990, it was meant as an educational centre and there was not a very high expectants of the number of visitors. Largest aquarium
Georgia Aquarium opened in 2005 and is the world's largest aquarium. It more than half a million square feet in total. It has tons of great features like viewing windows and has 500 species from all over the world on display.
Museums
Fernbank Museum of Natural History In the Natural History of this city you will be able to view dinosaurs and travel back in time to see what Georgia looked like through the ages. The museum also features children discovery rooms, a rose garden and dining. It also has an IMAX theatre in the museum. Atlanta Cycolama & Civil War Museum If you are interested in Civil War History, you cannot miss the opportunity to visit this museum. You sit in the middle of a seating area and a gigantic painting moves around you while telling you the story.
