How to use SPSS
The SPSS program comes in CD to be installed in Windows OS. Once it is installed users can access it directly for their purpose wherein they put information manually to get results.
Various variables displayed alphabetically help users reach to the desired one. For instance, user can open a data file from the menu by choosing File and put the information in it.
Once all the information is piled up in the concerned columns, user can run an analysis menu from the menu "Analyze".
Analysis has a sub-menu named "Descriptive Statistics" which has another sub-menu "Frequencies". Several icons appear in the "Frequencies" dialog box menu. Any one of them can be clicked to get analysed data and measurement.

Apart from being an expensive one, SPSS is not better than other competing similar programs such as SAS, R, etc. Similarly, the default graphics are poor which are hard to customize.
