Sports cars for hire in the UK

If you are looking for a sports car to hire then you're in luck, for we have never been so spoilt for choice. The hire car market is increasing in popularity and the hiring of sports cars/luxury vehicles are also enjoying the same degree of success. This is mainly due to the fact that one can reap the benefits of experiencing a great car, without experiencing the potential hazards that often come with purchasing the same vehicle i.e. Depreciation, running costs and repairs.

The different types of Supercar available for hire

Well to put it simply, almost any major brand you can think of. The most popular are the 'top-end' sports car brands, cars that most people would find impossible to buy. Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes are highly sought after brands. Which is best? It really depends on what type of sports car you prefer. If you want a sports car that is fast, beautiful and instantly recognizable, then hire a Ferrari. If you prefer a sports car that is quick but understated, hire a Porsche. If a mix of comfort and performance is what you're after, hire a Mercedes. Finally, if you want a sports car that is impossibly fast, beautifully built, very loud and will grab the attention of every motorist and pedestrian you drive past...hire a Lamborghini.

How does it work

Most companies that offer this type of vehicle give you the option of hiring the car for a day, weekend, week, and month and on rare occasions, a year. Again, it really depends on your personal preference (and your wallet). The process is very similar to hiring normal cars but with a few key differences. You must provide personal details like your driving license, ID, proof of address etc. Secondly you must place a deposit; this is often around the £5000 mark. This may seem like a lot but it is to cover the hire company's back in case of damage and other circumstances. Upon the return of the vehicle in its original state, the deposit will be returned to you in full. Thirdly you must pay the fee for hiring the car; limitations may be placed in regards to distance driven and the manner in which the vehicle may be driven. Any evidence to suggest that you have not followed these parameters as agreed, will almost always leads to costs being deducted from your deposit. Overall, I would highly recommend hiring out sports cars such as these. The driving experience and sheer thrill is completely unique to this type of performance car and when you consider the cost of purchasing a car like this, it can only be described as a wonderful way of spending your money.
