The top five Brad Paisley videos

Brad Paisley is an award winning singer-songwriter and quintessential country star famed for his blend of country music and Southern rock accompanied by an easy-going charisma. This article explores the career of Paisley and five of his top videos.

About Brad Paisley

Born in Glen Dale, West Virginia, Brad Douglas Paisley was introduced to music at the age of eight when he was taught to play guitar by his grandfather Warren Jarvis. It seems that Paisley was destined for music. At 12, he formed his first band, the C-Notes. Paisley's big break came shortly after graduating from Belmont as a Bachelor of Music Business. Fresh out of university, he signed with EMI Music Publishing and wrote songs for David Kersh and David Ball. In 1999, Paisley signed with Arista Nashville and released his debut single Who Needs Pictures. Since 2000, he has been consistently recording albums recognised for the humour-laced country lyrics that have become synonymous of Brad Paisley songs. With his rugged good looks and boyish charm, Paisley appeals to everyone.

I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song) I'm Gonna Miss Her was released in 2002 and reached number one in the Billboard Hot Country Songs. The song describes the dilemma of a boy losing his lover if he decides to go fishing rather than spend time at home. Directed by Peter Zavadil, the video tells the story of the couple and features both Kimberly Paisley (his wife) and Jerry Springer. Old Alabama Old Alabama features vocals from the band Alabama and depicts a man's idea of spending an evening with an attractive woman. The video takes place in a drive-through cinema with rolls played by the members of Alabama. Water Water was released in 2009 from the album American Saturday Night. It epitomises Paisley's humorous side as he narrates numerous situations that involve water. The video, directed by Jim Shea, shows Paisley playing guitar while clips of water-based activities are interspersed.
