Closer to Highbridge is an all-weather driving range to keep golf enthusiasts happy. Restaurants Many different tastes are catered for in the variety of foods available locally from English to French, Italian, Chinese and Indian. Amusement arcades No visit to an English seaside resort is complete without playing bingo or slot machines on the pier. Burnham pier has a large range of these amusements available. Shopping Burnham-on-Sea has a busy town centre with a thriving High-Street of shops selling everything you would expect including souvenirs of your visit.

Brean Down Only three miles from Burnham is Brean Down Fort. Brean Down itself is a peninsular that juts into the Bristol Channel. From this viewpoint, you can see Weston-Super-Mare and the coastline of Wales across the Channel. Brent Knoll Even closer to the town is Brent Knoll. This outcrop of the Mendip Hills stands 449 feet tall and from the top, it is possible to see Glastonbury Tor to the east, the Mendips and Cheddar Gorge to the north, Bristol Channel and Wales across to the west and the Quantock Hills to the south. Stert Island This nature haven is just SIX miles away from Burnham but to reach it, you must travel much further. It requires a drive to Bridgwater and then you can head towards Minehead for a rewarding trip.
Brean Leisure Park This fun park is open from April to November and has 40 rides and attractions suitable for all the family. Alongside rides, there is a fun pool with slides, bars and restaurants, shops and a golf course.
