About the Lemonade Stand game

Whilst there have been many different ports to systems as diverse as video game consoles and even mobile phones, the basic game play dynamic of all Lemonade Stand games has remained the same. Simple but engaging Whilst not particular complex in the style of game play, the game is nevertheless engaging and simple fun, making it an ideal 'ice breaker' for people and children who are new to economics games. In the game, the player runs a child's lemonade stand. Various factors come into play that makes the player have to make careful decisions on how to spend their (initially small) budget. Things such as the cost of advertising and the price that the lemonade will be sold at are highly important as to whether or not the player makes a success of their business or not. Other factors to be taken into consideration whilst playing There are many other factors that have to be carefully weighed up in order for the player to be make a profit and proceed further. At the start of the each 'day', a weather report is given. These usually comprise of either hot and dry, cloudy or sunny. From here, the player has to decide on how much they wish to spend on advertising, how many glasses of drink need to be prepared and finally the cost of each cup of lemonade. Once these have all been decided upon, a report is given showing either the loss or profit made for that day. Variations in different ports Whilst some ports of the game may be simplistic affairs in terms of graphics, others sometimes have comprehensive animations that add to the atmosphere of the game.
