It has a little less than 600.000 residents (2007 Glasgow Population Estimates), known as the Glaswegians. While you are in Glasgow, make sure to visit the Mitchell Library, the Scottish Opera, the National Theatre of Scotland, the Theatre Royal, the Glasgow City Chambers and the St. Mungo’s Cathedral.
The Scottish Highlands It is a worth visiting historic region of Scotland, distinguished from the Scottish Lowlands. The area is one of the most sparsely populated areas in Europe and has many mountain ranges, including the tallest mountain in Britain and Ireland, namely Ben Nevis.
