Citizen Weather and Climate Observer Program by Pupils for Euro-Mediterranean Region The goal of the SOLSTICE programme, sponsored by the Provence-Alpes-Cotes d'Azur Region and supervised by CEA Cadarache, is to conduct meteorological readings by installing weather stations in the secondary schools of the Euro-Mediterranean regions. The programme also includes observations of flora and fauna from one year to the next. These actions will be carried out by multidisciplinary teaching teams from the secondary schools in a spirit fostering both a scientific and civic approach with the help of the European scientific community, particularly around the Mediterranean area.
