A review of the top five Home Improvement episodes
With 204 episodes, it can be very hard to choose the top five home improvement episodes. Most people will remember it for classic lines such as "I don't think so, Tim" or for classic moments of never seeing the neighbour Wilson's whole face due to items such as the home improvement fencing or other products.

Episodes 5 and 4
Season Two, Episode Nine: Where There's a Will, There's a Way
The Home Improvement shows were not just about humour. Most episodes answered something about morals or about life. This one showed the fear a child can have of a parent dying.
Season Five, Episode 22: The Longest Day
Another episode answering some of life's hardest questions and problems. This is the episode when Randy finds out that he could have a serious thyroid condition that could develop into cancer. This episode also showed some great acting skills from the cast and showed how well they worked together on screen.
Episodes 3 and 2
Season Eight, Episode 18-19: Love's Labor Lost While this may be cheating viewers by being two episodes, it is actually a two part episode. This one goes into the problems and fears that Jill undergoes when she has to go for an emergency hysterectomy. Season One, Episode Six: Adventures in Fine Dining As a bet, Tim has to teach his three children about fine dining. This is a great episode and shows great dynamics between the Home Improvement cast, even though they had only been together for six episodes up to this point.
Episode 1
Season One, Episode Three: Off Sides
Out of all of the Home Improvement TV shows, this one episode sticks out the most. It is full of humour and just "what not to do as a man" when Tim decides that the football game is more important than a romantic dinner with his wife. The children have a magician for a babysitter who forgets the key to his lock.
Final word
It's extremely difficult to choose five episodes from the Home Improvement DVD - there are just so many of them. It can be very easy to be wrong about the top five and it's possible that many people have completely different thoughts.
The eight seasons are now available on one DVD box set or you can watch Home Improvement online. However, you may struggle to get through all
204 episodes in one sitting.
