Understanding whole wheat pasta

Wheat pasta is made from wholemeal flour. This makes the pasta taste a little different and some find it a bit heavier on the digestion. Most people don't, however, notice the difference between whole wheat and standard spaghetti. Therefore, if you want to start the move towards healthier pasta, this could be the way to begin.
