The pictures also stated that Heather comes from Holland. The pictures turned out to be sample shots from Heather's website and were grossly exaggerated. The Guinness World Records recognises Yao Defen from China as the world's largest woman. Yao is seven foot eight inches tall, weighs over 31 stones and has size 26 feet. Yao's excessive height is caused by a tumour in her pituitary gland. The tallest female ever recorded was Zen Jinlian from China, who was eight foot one and three quarter inches in height. Zen had a severely deformed spine and could not stand up straight. She died in 1982 at the age of 17.
