Find the studs
You need to use a magnetic stud finder to locate the studs that are behind the wallboard of the wall display case. This will sense any changes in density and will find the metal nails that are used to mount the case to the wall.
Then, using the magnetic finder, move toward the stud from both sides of the unit and mark the stud so that you know where you are going. You then have to measure so that you find the exact centre and mark it.
Hanging brackets
Then, drill into the stud, going through the case’s wallboard, making a hole in each corner of the unit. It is then time to make your markings on the wall. They have to be the same distance apart like the holes in the back of the unit and in line with the other holes.
Use a level to ensure that your markings are lined up perfectly. Then, drill the holes into the wall on your markings and insert the anchors.
Helping hand
You then need someone to hold the case up for you to line up the holes in the wall display with the holes in the wall. That’s when you insert the anchor screws and hit them in with a hammer, securing your new cabinet to the wall! Ready for decoration Make sure that the showcase is mounted securely. You may now decorate your unit with whatever you like, whether it is meant to be one of the trophy cases to act as wall shelves or simply one of the showcases to display something you’re proud of. It’s a space saver and it looks great!
