A review of the Harold and Kumar soundtrack

The soundtracks from the popular Harold and Kumar comedy movies are still in strong demand despite the first film being released way back in 2004. Harold and Kumar 1, Go to White Castle spawned a sequel titled Harold and Kumar 2, Escape from Guantanamo Bay, released four years later. Harold and Kumar 3, A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas 3D, is slated for release in 2011.

Soundtrack

The Harold and Kumar cast, John Cho (Harold) and Kal Penn (Kumar), do not actually appear on the soundtracks, nor do a number of the songs that appear in the movies. This is probably the biggest criticism of otherwise excellent Harold and Kumar soundtracks. The missing favourites from Guantanamo Bay include Whiplash by Metallica, Something About That Woman by Lakeside, I Love Ganja by Rastaman Ivan, The Donque Song by William Feat, Snoop Dogg and Mr Shadowmaker by Jeff Cardoni.
