Paris is the capital city of France and is widely regarded as the most romantic city in the world. Getting there and where to stay

Flights There are two main airports serving Paris, Charles de Gaulle, which is 30 kilometres north east of the city and Orly with is 18 kilometres south. Both are large airports and its best to check which terminal you will be using. They have excellent connections with the city. Be aware that some of the budget airlines use Beauvais airport which is 70 kilometres from Paris and so your trip into the city will be substantially longer. Train The Channel Tunnel has made connections between London and Paris quick and easy, taking around two hours and 15 minutes. The Eurostar trains arrive at Paris Gare-du-Nord which is very central. Coach Many international coach companies have trips to Paris from all over Europe. Accommodation in Paris Those going on Paris breaks have a wide range of accommodation possibilities on offer from rental apartments to hotels that range from the cheap and cheerful to the luxurious five star. Many companies offer Paris holiday packages that include cheap flights to Paris and hotel accommodation. You can choose hotels near the top sights or further out and then use the excellent Metro service.

Central Paris The city of Paris has so many amazing sights its hard to know where to start. There's the Eiffel Tower, the world famous Louvre Museum and the Notre Dame cathedral just for starters. The theme park is connected to Paris by regular trains and buses which take you directly to the park. It is divided into six sections and it is great fun for all the family, no matter what age you are. You can also stay in one of the Disney hotels .
