How to apply bronzer
This article is all about how to apply bronzer. If you want a natural, sun-kissed look, there really is an art to applying bronzers. If you get it wrong, you could end up looking streaky, muddy or even worse - orange. The following beautiful skin tips will ensure that you do not get it wrong when applying bronzer to suit your skin and style.
Step one - Choosing the right bronzer
Consider the right face bronzer for you. You could choose a liquid bronzer, or a powdered version that has a shimmer. Always remember, do not overdo it and get a colour that is too dark or bright for your skin tone.
The key is to look natural and healthy.
Step two - Preparing the skin
-Make sure that your skin is clean and clear. -Start by using a light self-tanned or a tinted moisturiser to even out your skin tone. -Apply your make-up as usual, but don't overdo it with the foundation as you don't want to look like it is caked on.
Step three - Applying the bronzer
It is important that you know how to apply the bronzer in the right areas. Sometimes, less is more, but it comes with practice. If you are using a powdered bronzer, use a large powder brush.
If you are using the liquid kind, then use a make-up sponge.
-Dab any excess onto a tissue, then start at the centre of your cheek on the apple and sweep it toward the temple to blend it in.
-Look up and see where your cheekbone catches the light, and sweep lightly along there.
-Circle the area at the outer jaw, but only lightly. Remember, it is better to put on less to begin with, then build it up. Repeat for the other cheek.
Step four - Don't forget the finishing touches!
You can add a small amount to each side of your forehead, and do a touch on your chin, and a little along the centre of your nose for some extra shimmer. Remember to sweep the bronzer across your collarbones and chest.

Step five - Keeping it on
Especially, when it is hot or if you touch your face a lot, it can be hard to keep your bronzer in place all day. Carry your bronzer out with you so you can do touch-ups, but don't knock it around too much else, it will powder up. The moisturiser applied first should help keep it in place, and another top tip is to use a facial primer.
Extra tips
To accentuate your features even more, apply a little vaseline to the hollows of your cheekbones - it will make them stand out even if you feel like you don't have any! Also, use eyebrow pencil to bring out the eyes against your bronzed skin.
