If you are looking for a cheap and healthy breakfast meal, then look no further. No longer do you have to run to the local donut shop for a quick fix. Here is a very easy smoothie for people on the go. Place 1 cup of milk, 2 frozen bananas, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 tablespoon of honey and 8 ice cubes in a blender and blend on high speed. Pour into a sealed cup with a straw and you are ready to go to work.
Cheap and easy lentil lunch
This is one of the easiest lunches that you will ever make. You will need:
1 kilo of pink slit lentils
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 jalapeno, chopped fine
1 inch of fresh ginger, minced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of garam masala
fresh coriander leaves
Yogurt
Method
Rinse the lentils under water several times and put in a pan holding 1/2 gallon of water.
Add in the ginger, cloves, garam masala and salt.
Cook the lentils until they are done
Add in the tomatoes and the jalapeno.
Cook for another 15 minutes.
Serve on a platter and dollop yogurt in several places. Top the yogurt with some more garam masala and some chopped coriander leaves.
Freeze the remainder in individual plastic bags and pull out as needed to use.
Simply add a bit of water to the pan and heat.

Healthy dinners
If you want a healthy dinner, then start with some lean protein such as chicken breast. Cook the breast and chop over a large green salad. Top with your favourite veggies and a bit of low-calorie mayo. A huge glass of ice tea on the side will please any family member.
