About the game
Test Twist was developed by Oberon Media and is available at Yahoo! and Msn games.com. You can play the simple version online for free or pay to download super text Twist. You can download the full version for free for an hour to try it out.
Aim
The aim of the game is to find the biggest word or words that you can make from the letters you are given and to find as many words of three letters or above that are hidden in the text. To progress to the next level and to continue playing the text game, you must find at least one of the biggest words. You have two minutes to complete the level.
Instructions
To help you to find as many words hidden in the letters, you can press the' twist' text button which will re-arrange the letters. To save typing time, you can press on the 'last word' button to call up the last word which you entered so that you can make it longer by adding extra letters.
Positive points
Unlike some text games, this game is easy to understand and to play. The word twister button can make it easier to see words hidden in the text. Text Twist online is free and only takes minutes to play, meaning that you can easily fit it into small work breaks. The download version offers more variety in play in that you can play untimed versions of the game to improve your ability in this twist game.
Negative points
Spellings are in American English and this can cause some problems when it comes to identifying the hidden words. The timed version online is annoying in that if you cannot see the biggest word and can't find any more text words, you have to wait for the timer to click down. You cannot just give in. This can be very frustrating when you want a quick play. People who have played TextTwist2 will find that words which are accepted in that version of the game are not acceptable in the MSN text twist game.
