Located just a few kilometres away from the city Regina, the Regina Airport is home to a number of airlines, charter air service companies and cargo planes. As of the busiest Canada airports, the Regina Airport caters to several destinations across Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Runways
The airport features two intersecting runways which are certified to 4C precision standards. The primary runaway is about 7,900 feet long, while the secondary runaway is about 6,200 feet. The primary runaway is equipped with high-intensity approach lights to guide planes during low-visibility landing.

The main floor
The airport terminal has two levels, the main floor of which holds the Canadian Border Service Agency, the Regina Airport Authority office, the airline service counter, public service counters, rent a car counters, food and beverage area,
Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) screening area and others. There are a number of teller machines and hotel booking counters located near the pre-screening area.
The second level
The second level of the terminal building provides core access to international arrival. This level also has two lounges, a number of food and beverage shops, a post-security holding room and loading bridges. Wireless Internet connections are available both in the pre-screening and post-screening areas of the airport.
Passenger screening and airport safety protocol
The Regina Airport values the safety of travellers, so it requires all passengers to go through the CATSA, before they are allowed to board their aircraft.
The security screening starts at the first floor of the terminal building, where the passengers go through a metal detector.
Passengers, who trigger the alarm twice go through the secondary search area for physical searching and further investigation.
Airport parking and transportation facilities
Parking space
The Regina airport has ample parking space both for short-stay and long-stay parking. Metered stalls are provided for airport clients, who wish to stay for a few hours. For passengers who want to leave their car in the airport for a few days, they can rent parking stalls on a daily basis.
Car rental and taxi service
The airport offers easy access both car rental and taxi service. To rent a car, go the main level of the terminal. You can find the car rental counters there.
If you want to get taxi, proceed to the terminal exit. You can find a number of taxis lining-up just outside the terminal door.
