A favourite destination for families, no Florida vacation would be complete without exploring at least one of the many parks. However, which one to choose? Kennedy Space Centre NASA's launch headquarters, the Kennedy Space Centre, is about two hours to the east of Orlando. The centre gives visitors the chance to meet astronauts, experience flight simulators and tour the launching areas. Busch Gardens Located about an hour and a half, to the west of Orlando in Tampa Bay, Busch Gardens is an adventure park combining rides and animal sightings. The park boasts more roller coasters than any other location in Florida, and also gives visitors the chance to get close to the endangered creatures, such as the Bengal tiger and the Orangutans.
