Attach the brackets
When you purchase an in-wall sub woofer, it comes with brackets. Attach these brackets to the top and bottom of the enclosure that will be mounted to the studs in the wall. Ensure that the edge of the bracket is even with the side of the enclosure against the stud. Use a drill and a screwdriver to attach the brackets. You can also use small bookshelf speakers close to the in-wall sub woofer to boost the sound even higher. JBL audio speakers are great speakers and they work great. In-wall speakers can help you achieve surround sound in your home and make you feel as if you are sitting in a theater while you are watching a movie or listening to the radio.
Remove the backing
Remove the backing from the isolation pads and place them inside the sub enclosure that is going to be placed against the sub. Place the sub enclosure against the stud and then secure it using the screws through the brackets into the studs in the wall. Place the top and bottom brackets on the other side of the sub enclosure and ensure that they will support the sub. Attach the brackets to the enclosure and the stud with the screws using a screwdriver. Make sure that the screws are tight and in the stud. Double-check the tightness by using the screwdriver on each screw one more time.
Cut the opening for the grille
Remove the board that covers the speaker in front of the enclosure.
Use it as a template when you cut the opening for the grille in the drywall. This is a major project and can take some time to complete.
A final word
Cutting into a wall is a major job and can get very messy. When you are finished, your in- wall speakers will sound great and you will be satisfied with a job well done.
